Ingredients

* 5 pounds potatoes-mashed (hot)
* 1 small yeast
* Salt to taste
* 3-4 cups of flour to make soft dough

Preparation

Mix all of the ingredients together. Make about 4 inch long ropes and drop the dough in the oil to fry. When the dough has turned a golden brown remove from the oil and place on paper towels. These are made at Christmas and it is a tradition we have had over many generations.
